Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what personal information Highthorne collects when you use this website or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We keep this short and clear on purpose.
Who we are
Highthorne ("we", "us") provides commercial growth and transformation services and is based in Leeds, United Kingdom. We are the "data controller" for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us at enquiries@highthorne.co.uk.
What information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- When you use our contact form: your name, email address, company name (if you provide it) and the content of your message.
- If you sign up for our updates: your email address.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard information such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on this site.
How we use it, and our legal basis
We use the information you send through the contact form to respond to your enquiry and to follow up about the services you contacted us about. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch with us.
If you subscribe to our updates, we use your email address to send you those updates, on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw that consent and unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we don't share it for marketing. We do use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf so the website can function:
- Formspree: delivers our contact-form submissions to our inbox.
- IONOS: hosts this website.
- Google Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google, which may involve your browser making a request to Google's servers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and no longer than necessary. If you've subscribed to updates, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate;
- Ask us to delete your information;
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- Withdraw consent (for updates) at any time.
To exercise any of these, just email enquiries@highthorne.co.uk and we'll help.
Complaints
We'd always prefer you came to us first so we can put things right. But you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
